Upload guide: what photo works best

Best photo in one line: a lying face-down photo with your face in the foreground, turned out toward the camera.

• Pose and framing: Use a view from beside your head, looking along your body, lying flat on your stomach with your face in the foreground turned out toward the camera.
• Eyes: Turn your face out toward the camera with your eyes open, no hair across your face.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth area uncovered in the photo.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and sharpness: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Avoid: standing photos, faces turned away, distant shots, dark or blurry photos.
